Volunteer Levantando is proud to be part of this community project for our future farmers of Puerto Rico!
On Saturday, September 19, 2026 a small group of volunteers removed ornamental trees and cleared the area for a new compost site on Finquita Verde in Ceiba, Puerto Rico. Several students joined us as part of their community service “green hours”. During the volunteer day, Coqui frog eggs were discovered and relocated to a safe area on the farm. Many bees, butterflies, and worms provided additional opportunity for education and fun throughout the day.
